Laird was prevalent on THE bulletin board in late 80something and got enlisted.

TCP/IP was accepted and hypertext became the future. Mosaic and Netscape were booming and a network of The Brain(s) needed to be established before the interweb imploded.

It was at exactly 44 minutes and 44 seconds past 4 in early 90something that Laird adopted his The Brain.

One of 28 in existence it continues to expand it’s knowledge exponentially.

Each The Brain is connected to the other The Brain(s). Forever satisfying browsers with constant fodder for their ferociously insatiable appetites.

As one The Brain reaches zero hour, another The Brain takes it place, each and every day – one day on and 27 off – 13 times a year.

When a The Brain requires maintenance, or when the system gets recalibrated every 4 years, they will share the workload equally.

At the time of writing more than half of The Brain(s) wait to serve their quadrennial duties. Doomed to repeat forever.

To Date – No The Brain is ever expected to completely fail, but it is accepted that future errors are inevitable.
